New Year Eve in Pulan, SW of Tibet

Mood:

I have been here in Tibet for 2 weeks already.

Far away from Lhasa and Hong Kong, I am now in the southwest of Tibet, the border between China, India and Nepal.

Yesterday we went to a river bank where both frozen and flowing water can be seen at the same time. Blue sky, iced mountain, as well as the shinny sun, what an awesome picture!

Get ready to visit the places which are not popular among tourists. Tomorrow we will be visiting a small but beautiful village with an old temple. The day after, we will be climbing up to one of the peaksof Himalayas.....! Aren't we too ambitious?

There isn't any celebration for the X'mas and the New Year 2008, but we are gonna make a special new year celebration ourselves! Firework under the starry sky, isn't it a good idea?

2 weeks left... Hope that everything will still go well. Frankly, I really miss my family, my friends and the food in Hong Kong! And... when can I have a comfortable shower?
